About

Acodamust 100mg Injection contains Bendamustine, an alkylating agent with unique antimetabolite properties, primarily utilized in the treatment of various hematologic malignancies. Its mechanism of action involves forming highly reactive alkyl groups that cross-link DNA strands, leading to DNA damage and inhibition of DNA synthesis and repair. This ultimately triggers apoptosis in rapidly dividing cancer cells. Bendamustine's distinct structure allows it to combine the cytotoxic effects of both alkylating agents and purine analogs, making it effective against cells resistant to other chemotherapy drugs. It is administered intravenously and undergoes hepatic metabolism.
