About

Adxate 7.5 mg is a powerful antimetabolite and immunosuppressive agent, widely utilized in the management of various neoplastic diseases and severe autoimmune disorders. Its primary mechanism involves the competitive inhibition of dihydrofolate reductase, an enzyme critical for the synthesis of tetrahydrofolate, which is essential for DNA and RNA synthesis. By disrupting this pathway, Adxate effectively impairs cell proliferation, particularly in rapidly dividing cells such as cancer cells and hyperactive immune cells. This action makes it an effective chemotherapeutic agent and a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD). The 7.5 mg dosage is commonly prescribed for non-cancerous conditions, typically administered on a weekly basis to minimize toxicity and optimize therapeutic outcomes.
