About

Deninta 60mg Injection is a fully human monoclonal antibody that specifically targets and inhibits RANK ligand (RANKL), a crucial protein involved in the formation, function, and survival of osteoclasts. Osteoclasts are the primary cells responsible for bone resorption, the process by which bone tissue is broken down. By binding to RANKL, Deninta effectively prevents it from activating its receptor on osteoclasts and their precursors, thereby reducing osteoclast activity and bone turnover. This targeted mechanism leads to a significant increase in bone mineral density and a substantial reduction in the risk of various types of fractures, including vertebral, non-vertebral, and hip fractures. Administered via subcutaneous injection, it serves as a potent antiresorptive agent, offering a valuable therapeutic option for managing conditions characterized by excessive bone loss and fragility.

Uses

  • Treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis in women at high risk of fracture.
  • Increase bone mass in men with osteoporosis at high risk of fracture.
  • Treatment of bone loss in men receiving androgen deprivation therapy for non-metastatic prostate cancer.
  • Treatment of bone loss in women receiving adjuvant aromatase inhibitor therapy for breast cancer.
