About
Evergraf 0.5mg Tablet is an antineoplastic medication from the class of mTOR kinase inhibitors, containing the active ingredient everolimus. It is prescribed for the treatment of advanced breast cancer, renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, and subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (tumors located in the brain ventricles). Since this medicine may cause mouth sores or ulcers, maintaining good oral hygiene and scheduling regular dental check-ups are recommended. In the treatment of subependymal giant cell astrocytoma, it is sometimes used in combination with cyclophosphamide, an alkylating agent.
Evergraf 0.5mg Tablet increases the risk of bacterial and viral infections. Patients with a history of Hepatitis B may be at risk of reactivation. Inform your doctor if you develop symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, yellowing of the skin, joint pain, or swelling during treatment. To lower the risk of skin cancer, limit exposure to sunlight and UV rays by using protective clothing and sunscreen. Grapefruit and grapefruit juice should be avoided while taking this medicine. Evergraf 0.5 Tablet 10’s substitute is Evergraf 0.5mg Tablet.
This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, or a worsening cough. During treatment, your doctor may regularly monitor blood counts, platelets, kidney function, electrolytes, and blood sugar levels to prevent complications. Evergraf 0.5mg Tablet may also cause kidney-related side effects. Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, heart failure, high cholesterol, or high blood pressure before starting therapy. Live vaccines should be avoided, as well as close contact with individuals who have recently received live vaccines.
