About

Glaritus Cartridge 10 contains Insulin Glargine, a long-acting human insulin analog used for the treatment of type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Insulin Glargine is designed to provide a relatively constant glucose-lowering effect over 24 hours with no pronounced peak, mimicking the basal insulin secretion of a healthy pancreas. This sustained action helps maintain stable blood glucose levels between meals and overnight, significantly reducing the risk of nocturnal hypoglycemia compared to intermediate-acting insulins. It works by binding to insulin receptors on cells, facilitating glucose uptake by muscle and adipose tissue, and inhibiting glucose production by the liver. Glaritus Cartridge is intended for subcutaneous injection using an insulin pen device, providing flexible once-daily dosing.
