About

JOSEIZ-50 contains Losartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used primarily for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It works by selectively blocking the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor, which is found in many tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and the adrenal glands. This blockade prevents the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, leading to vasodilation and a reduction in blood pressure.
