About

NOVORAPID PENFIL 1 contains Insulin Aspart, a rapid-acting insulin analogue, indicated for the treatment of diabetes mellitus. Insulin Aspart is genetically engineered to have a faster onset and shorter duration of action compared to regular human insulin. This rapid action allows it to be administered immediately before a meal (0-10 minutes) or even shortly after, effectively covering the postprandial glucose rise. Its quick absorption and peak effect, typically within 1-2 hours, help to minimize the risk of post-meal hyperglycemia. NOVORAPID is suitable for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes patients who require mealtime insulin to achieve optimal glycemic control. The Penfill cartridges are designed for use with compatible insulin pens, providing a convenient and precise method of insulin delivery, crucial for flexible meal planning and lifestyle management.
