About

Temorel 100mg Capsule contains temozolomide as its active ingredient and belongs to a class of medications known as antitumor agents. It is used to treat certain types of brain cancer, including glioblastoma multiforme in adults and malignant glioma (such as glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma) in patients over three years of age. These cancers are among the most aggressive brain tumors with limited survival rates. Anaplastic astrocytoma is treated with Temorel 100mg Capsule or radiation therapy after a biopsy, while glioblastoma multiforme is typically managed with a combination of radiation therapy and Temorel 100mg Capsule, followed by continued use as maintenance therapy.

Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, constipation, hair loss, skin rashes, fatigue, frequent urination, vision and hearing issues, elevated blood sugar, muscle pain or damage, joint pain, memory problems, coordination issues, infections, sleep disturbances, and weight loss. Inform your doctor if any of these effects persist or become bothersome.

Before starting this medication, let your doctor know if you are allergic to Temorel 100mg Capsule or any of its ingredients. Also, inform them if you have a history of hepatitis B, anemia, low red or white blood cell counts, low platelets, blood clotting disorders, or any liver or kidney conditions.
