About

Rabeprazole, commonly known as RABLET 20MG TAB, is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce the production of stomach acid. It works by irreversibly binding to and inhibiting the H+/K+-ATPase enzyme system, also known as the proton pump, located in the parietal cells of the stomach. This inhibition effectively blocks the final step of acid secretion, leading to a significant and prolonged reduction in gastric acid levels. Rabeprazole is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers (duodenal and gastric), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and in combination with antibiotics for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection.

Its potent acid-suppressing action helps to relieve symptoms, promote healing of erosions, and prevent recurrence of acid-related conditions, thereby improving patient comfort and preventing complications.
