Rosutor Gold 20/75 is a fixed-dose combination medication containing Rosuvastatin (20mg), Aspirin (75mg), and Clopidogrel (75mg). This potent combination is primarily indicated for the prevention of cardiovascular events in patients at high risk, particularly those with established atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, such as a history of myocardial infarction, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease. Rosuvastatin is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) that lowers cholesterol levels by reducing hepatic cholesterol synthesis. Aspirin is an antiplatelet agent that inhibits platelet aggregation by irreversibly blocking cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1). Clopidogrel is also an antiplatelet agent that selectively inhibits the binding of ADP to its platelet receptor, thereby preventing platelet activation and aggregation.
