Venclexta 10mg Tablet contains venetoclax, an oral BCL-2 inhibitor used in the treatment of specific hematological malignancies. BCL-2 (B-cell lymphoma 2) is an anti-apoptotic protein that is overexpressed in many cancers, allowing cancer cells to survive longer. Venetoclax selectively binds to the BCL-2 protein, displacing other pro-apoptotic proteins and restoring the apoptotic process in cancer cells. This targeted mechanism leads to the programmed cell death of malignant cells, particularly effective in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with specific genetic mutations. Uses
