About

Apnat 60 mg contains Apalutamide as its active ingredient and belongs to a class of anti-cancer medications known as androgen receptor inhibitors. It is used to treat certain types of prostate cancer—specifically in patients whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body but still responds to treatments that lower testosterone (a male hormone), or in those whose cancer has not spread but no longer responds to such treatments.

Apnat 60 mg works by blocking the action of androgens (male hormones), which helps to slow or stop the growth and spread of cancer cells. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as chest pain, indigestion, signs of a heart attack, difficulty walking, or numbness in the face or body.

This medicine is not recommended for use during pregnancy, as it may harm the unborn baby. It can be taken with or without food. Apnat 60 mg may affect male fertility, so men are advised not to father a child or donate sperm during treatment and for at least three months after the final dose. Effective birth control should be used during this time.

 Uses

  • Metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer.
  • Non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.
