About
Erlamide 60 mg contains Apalutamide as its active ingredient. It is an anti-cancer medicine belonging to the class of androgen receptor inhibitors. It is prescribed for certain types of prostate cancer—either when the cancer has spread to other parts of the body but still responds to medical or surgical treatments that lower testosterone (male reproductive hormone), or when the cancer has not spread but no longer responds to such treatments.
Erlamide 60 mg works by blocking the effects of androgens, thereby helping to slow or stop the growth and spread of cancer cells. Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms such as chest pain, indigestion, signs of a heart attack, difficulty walking, or numbness in the face or body. This medicine is not recommended for use in women, especially during pregnancy, as it may harm the unborn baby. It can be taken with or without food. Erlamide may cause fertility problems in men; therefore, men should avoid fathering a child or donating sperm during treatment and for at least three months after the last dose. Effective birth control methods should be used during this time.
