About

Benepack 4 contains Benidipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker primarily used in the management of essential hypertension and chronic stable angina pectoris. It exerts its therapeutic effects by inhibiting the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac muscle cells. This action leads to vasodilation, reducing peripheral vascular resistance and consequently lowering blood pressure. Furthermore, by improving myocardial oxygen supply, it effectively alleviates anginal symptoms. Benidipine is notable for its sustained binding to calcium channels and its dual blockade of L-type and T-type calcium channels, contributing to its long-lasting antihypertensive effect and favorable tolerability profile. Its pharmacokinetic characteristics support once-daily dosing, which enhances patient adherence in the long-term management of cardiovascular conditions.
