About

Bortenat 2mg Injection is a chemotherapy drug that belongs to a class of medications known as proteasome inhibitors. It contains the active ingredient Bortezomib and is used to treat multiple myeloma and mantle cell lymphoma. Multiple myeloma is a cancer of plasma cells primarily found in the bone marrow, while mantle cell lymphoma is a rarer form of cancer affecting the lymph nodes. Bortenat 2mg is often used in combination with other chemotherapy agents such as pegylated liposomal doxorubicin, rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, dexamethasone, prednisolone, or thalidomide, especially in patients who have not yet begun treatment and are not eligible for a blood stem cell transplant.

Common side effects of Bortenat 2mg Injection include pneumonia, loss of appetite, sensitivity or tingling of the skin, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, mouth ulcers, constipation, muscle and bone pain, hair loss, fever, infections, itching, redness, dehydration, and digestive issues. Notify your doctor if any of these side effects persist or become bothersome.

You should inform your doctor if you are allergic to Bortenat 2mg Injection or any of its ingredients. This medication is not recommended for individuals with severe lung or heart conditions.
