Cacecon 667 mg Tablet contains Calcium acetate, a medication commonly prescribed to control high phosphate levels in the blood (hyperphosphatemia). It is mainly used in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD) who are undergoing dialysis. By lowering phosphate levels, it helps protect bone health, reducing the risk of fractures and bone-related complications. It may also decrease the risk of cardiovascular problems, such as heart disease and blood vessel calcification. When combined with dietary changes, Cacecon 667 mg Tablet improves phosphate control and may relieve symptoms like itching and skin irritation, which are common in kidney disease.

This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to calcium acetate or any of its ingredients. It is also unsuitable for patients with severe kidney impairment or disorders of calcium metabolism.
