About

Concor T 5 combines Bisoprolol Fumarate, a highly selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker, with Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. Bisoprolol reduces heart rate and cardiac output, thereby lowering blood pressure and reducing the heart's workload. Hydrochlorothiazide works by increasing the excretion of sodium and water from the body, which reduces blood volume and consequently lowers blood pressure.

This combination provides a synergistic antihypertensive effect, targeting different mechanisms involved in blood pressure regulation.
