About

Exemestane is a potent and irreversible steroidal aromatase inhibitor, specifically utilized in the endocrine therapy of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. In postmenopausal women, the primary source of estrogen is the conversion of anrogens into estrogens by the aromatase enzyme, predominantly in peripheral tissues such as fat, muscle, and the liver.
