About

Garoin is a combination antiepileptic medication containing Phenytoin and Phenobarbital, used to manage various types of seizures, particularly generalized tonic-clonic seizures and partial seizures. Phenytoin works by stabilizing neuronal membranes and reducing the spread of seizure activity by modulating voltage-gated sodium channels. Phenobarbital, a barbiturate, enhances the effects of GABA, leading to central nervous system depression and anticonvulsant activity. The synergistic action of these two agents provides broad-spectrum seizure control.
