Hertab 250mg Tablet contains the active ingredient lapatinib. It is prescribed for the treatment of advanced breast cancer and may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It works effectively against hormone-sensitive cells and rapidly dividing cancer cells that overproduce the protein known as human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2).

Common side effects that may occur during treatment include nausea, vomiting, fatigue, weakness, itching, dry skin, loss of appetite, indigestion, constipation, mouth ulcers, stomach pain, difficulty sleeping, joint or back pain, cough, breathing difficulties, and headache. Inform your physician immediately if you develop severe allergic reactions, skin rashes, or experience problems related to the heart, liver, or lungs.

Report to your healthcare provider at the first sign of diarrhea or dehydration. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advised while taking Hertab 250mg Tablet.
