About

Inramed 2.5mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Midodrine, a medication mainly prescribed for the management of low blood pressure (hypotension). It belongs to the class of alpha-1 adrenergic agonists, which work by constricting blood vessels and thereby increasing blood pressure. This medicine is often used to treat orthostatic hypotension, a condition where blood pressure drops upon standing, leading to symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, and fainting. Inramed should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney problems or end-stage renal disease, as dose adjustments may be required to avoid drug accumulation.

The medicine should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to Midodrine or any of its components. Before starting treatment, patients should inform their doctor if they have urinary difficulties, heart disease, eye complications due to diabetes, adrenal tumors, enlarged prostate, severe kidney disease, hypertension, slow heart rate, or thyroid disorders. Inramed is contraindicated in patients with serious heart conditions such as unstable angina, congestive heart failure, or a recent heart attack, as it can increase cardiac strain and may not be well tolerated in such cases.
