About

Leuget 50mg Injection contains Leucovorin calcium, a substance chemically related to folic acid and classified as a folic acid analog. It is primarily used to reduce the toxic effects of methotrexate during cancer treatment. It is also prescribed in cases of methotrexate overdose or similar drugs. Additionally, Leuget is used in combination with other anticancer medications to treat colorectal cancer (cancer of the colon or rectum) and to manage anemia caused by folic acid deficiency.

Do not use Leuget 50mg Injection if you are allergic to Leucovorin calcium, calcium folinate, or any other component of this medicine. It is also contraindicated in individuals with certain types of anemia, such as pernicious anemia or megaloblastic anemia caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have anemia or any kidney, liver, or heart conditions. Let your doctor know if you are taking any seizure medications. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as wheezing, difficulty breathing, skin rash, itching, hives, or swelling of the face, lips, or tongue.
