About

Rabez-L Capsule is a combination medication that contains Rabeprazole and Levosulpiride as its active ingredients. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Levosulpiride, on the other hand, is both an antipsychotic and a prokinetic agent, which helps enhance gut movement and improve digestion.

This medication is primarily used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, causing heartburn and acid reflux. Rabez-L Capsule helps relieve these symptoms by controlling acid secretion. It is also effective in managing dyspepsia, which includes symptoms like indigestion, bloating, and upper abdominal discomfort.

Together, Rabeprazole and Levosulpiride work synergistically to relieve digestive discomfort and support better gastrointestinal health.

Uses

  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) – to relieve heartburn and acid reflux
  • Dyspepsia (indigestion) – to treat bloating, discomfort, and fullness
  • Functional dyspepsia – where no clear cause of indigestion is found
  • Acid peptic disorders – including gastritis and stomach ulcers
  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) – in some cases, to improve gut motility
  • Gastroparesis – delayed gastric emptying, especially in diabetic patients
  • Prevention of ulcer relapse in long-term acid-related conditions
