Vivitra 375mg Injection contains Trastuzumab as its active ingredient and is primarily used in the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. In patients with HER2-positive breast cancer, the cancer cells produce excessive amounts of HER2 proteins, which promote the rapid growth and spread of tumors by sending signals that stimulate cancer cell proliferation. This medication is also indicated for the treatment of metastatic gastric cancer in patients with elevated HER2 protein levels.

HER2-positive breast cancers are typically more aggressive, and targeted therapy like Vivitra works by specifically attacking the HER2 proteins that drive cancer growth, progression, and spread. It is important to use effective contraception during the course of treatment and for at least 7 months after the final dose.

Vivitra 375mg Injection is not recommended for use in patients under 18 years of age, those with severe breathing issues, or individuals requiring oxygen therapy.
