Zerogain 10 Tab contains a specific dose (e.g., 10mg) of a triptan medication, which is a highly effective treatment for the acute relief of migraine headaches. Triptans work by selectively binding to serotonin 5-HT1B/1D receptors on cranial blood vessels and nerve endings. This action leads to vasoconstriction of dilated intracranial blood vessels, which are thought to contribute to migraine pain, and also inhibits the release of pro-inflammatory neuropeptides from trigeminal nerves. Directions For Use
