About

Asparawem 5000IU Injection contains Asparaginase, an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of asparagine into aspartic acid and ammonia. Certain cancer cells, particularly those found in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), are unable to synthesize asparagine and are therefore dependent on external sources of this amino acid for their survival and proliferation. By depleting circulating asparagine, Asparawem selectively starves these cancer cells, leading to their death.

This medication is a critical component of multi-agent chemotherapy regimens for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and some lymphomas, playing a vital role in achieving remission and improving long-term outcomes for patients.
