About

Bandrone 150mg Tablet contains ibandronate, a potent bisphosphonate specifically designed for monthly oral administration. This medication is a key treatment for postmenopausal osteoporosis, a condition characterized by progressive bone loss and increased susceptibility to fractures. Ibandronate works by inhibiting the activity of osteoclasts, the cells responsible for breaking down bone tissue. By binding to the bone mineral surface, it effectively reduces bone resorption, thereby helping to preserve existing bone mass and significantly increase bone mineral density. The monthly 150mg regimen offers a convenient and patient-friendly dosing schedule, which can improve adherence to therapy compared to more frequent dosing. This approach helps to reduce the risk of vertebral fractures and contributes to the long-term maintenance of skeletal integrity in women with osteoporosis.
