About

By selectively inhibiting IMPDH, MMF effectively suppresses the proliferation of T and B lymphocytes, thereby reducing the immune response that would otherwise target and reject the transplanted organ. MMF is typically administered in combination with other immunosuppressive agents, such as corticosteroids and calcineurin inhibitors, to achieve optimal immunosuppression and minimize the risk of acute and chronic rejection episodes, ultimately improving graft survival and patient outcomes post-transplantation.
