About
Crevast A 10 Tablet is a combination medication containing Rosuvastatin 10mg and Aspirin, prescribed for patients who require both lipid-lowering and antiplatelet therapy. Rosuvastatin, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, effectively lowers elevated LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing HDL cholesterol, thereby stabilizing atherosclerotic plaques and reducing cardiovascular risk. Aspirin, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with antiplatelet properties, works by inhibiting platelet aggregation, thus preventing the formation of blood clots. This combination is particularly beneficial for individuals with dyslipidemia who are also at high risk of thrombotic events, such as those with a history of heart attack, stroke, or those undergoing primary prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Uses
- Primary prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk individuals.
- Secondary prevention of heart attack and stroke.
- Management of dyslipidemia with concurrent antiplatelet needs.
- Patients with established atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
