About

Gluvilda OD contains Vildagliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Vildagliptin works by selectively inhibiting the DPP-4 enzyme, which is responsible for the rapid degradation of incretin hormones, GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide).
