Inflixirel 100mg Injection is an antirheumatic medication that belongs to a class of drugs known as TNF (tumour necrosis factor) alfa inhibitors containing the active ingredient Infliximab. This medication is used to treat various inflammatory conditions, primarily autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and psoriasis.

If you are allergic to Infliximab or any other ingredients, you should not use this medication. Individuals who are allergic (hypersensitive) to proteins that come from mice should not receive this drug. If you have active tuberculosis (TB) or another severe infection like pneumonia or sepsis, this drug should not be used, as it may weaken the immune system and exacerbate these infections.

Notify your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking Inflixirel 100mg Injection. It will be given only if needed. If you received this medicine while you are pregnant, inform your baby’s physician before your baby is given any vaccine. Before you start breastfeeding, your last treatment must be at least six months ago. Consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

Directions for use

This medicine should be administered by a doctor or nurse. Please do not attempt to self-administer it.

• Stomach pain, pain in joints, muscles or back
• Difficulty breathing, chest pain
• Diarrhea, constipation
• Indigestion, heartburn
• Bruising, flushing, nosebleed
• Serious infections (TB, blood infections, fungal infections)
• Eye problems
• Fast heartbeat
• Low blood counts
• Possible signs of cancer 

Safety Measures

Alcohol - It is not known whether alcohol interacts with Inflixirel 100mg Injection. Please consult your doctor for further guidance.
Pregnancy - Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant before starting Inflixirel 100mg Injection. It will only be administered if clearly needed. If you received this medication during pregnancy, make sure to inform your baby’s doctor before your child receives any vaccinations.
Breastfeeding - Before you begin breastfeeding, ensure that at least six months have passed since your last dose of Inflixirel 100mg Injection. Consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding before starting this medication.
Liver - Inform your doctor if you have a history of liver disorders, particularly hepatitis B infection, as Inflixirel 100mg Injection may cause the virus to reactivate. Your doctor will assess your liver function before beginning treatment.
Kidney - The effects of Inflixirel 100mg Injection on the kidneys are not well established. Consult your doctor for proper evaluation and guidance.
