Mistaurin 25mg Capsule contains the active ingredient Midostaurin, an anti-cancer medication classified as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs to treat acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in adults who have a mutation in the FLT3 gene. AML is a type of blood cancer that begins in white blood cells called myeloid cells, where the body produces an abnormal number of these cells.

Mistaurin is also prescribed to adults for treating aggressive systemic mastocytosis (ASM), systemic mastocytosis with associated hematological neoplasm (SM-AHN), and mast cell leukemia (MCL).

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Midostaurin or any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have a history of infections, heart conditions, lung issues, or breathing difficulties. Seek immediate medical attention if you develop symptoms such as fever, sore throat, mouth ulcers, coughing (with or without mucus), chest pain, breathing difficulty, or swelling in any part of the body after starting the medication.
