About

PANTAFORD DSR is a combination medication containing Pantoprazole and Domperidone. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that irreversibly blocks the H+/K+-ATPase enzyme system (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells, thereby reducing gastric acid secretion. This leads to effective and prolonged suppression of stomach acid. Domperidone is a dopamine antagonist with prokinetic properties; it increases gastrointestinal motility and tone of the lower esophageal sphincter, facilitating gastric emptying and reducing reflux.

This combination is particularly effective in treating conditions where both acid suppression and improved gastrointestinal motility are required. Directions For Use
