ROSUFIT CV 20 combines Rosuvastatin, an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, with Clopidogrel, a potent antiplatelet agent. Rosuvastatin effectively lowers cholesterol levels, particularly low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), thereby reducing the formation and progression of atherosclerotic plaques within arteries. Clopidogrel, a thienopyridine, works by selectively inhibiting the binding of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) to its platelet receptor, leading to irreversible inhibition of platelet aggregation and preventing the formation of dangerous blood clots.
