About

VERTICIA-16 contains Betahistine, a histamine analogue primarily used for the treatment of Meniere's disease and its associated symptoms, such as vertigo, tinnitus, and hearing loss. Betahistine is thought to work by improving blood flow in the inner ear, specifically within the stria vascularis, which helps to reduce the pressure buildup of endolymph. It also acts as a weak H1-receptor agonist and a potent H3-receptor antagonist, leading to increased histamine turnover in the brain.
