About

Cresp 200mcg Injection contains Darbepoetin Alfa as its active ingredient. It belongs to a group of medicines known as hematopoietic growth factors and is classified as an antineoplastic agent. This injection is used to treat anemia (a condition marked by low red blood cell count) in individuals with chronic kidney disease. It is also prescribed to manage anemia caused by chemotherapy in patients with certain cancers. Common symptoms of anemia include fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath.

Avoid using Cresp 200mcg Injection if you are allergic to Darbepoetin Alfa or any of its components, or if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure. Inform your doctor if you have a history of high blood pressure, anemia, seizures, epilepsy, liver problems, latex allergy, or hepatitis C. It is also important to notify your physician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe headache, dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, visual disturbances, nausea, vomiting, or seizures after taking this medication. Common side effects include high blood pressure, shortness of breath, leg swelling, and cough.
