About

Cresp 500mcg Injection contains Darbepoetin Alfa as its active component. It is classified as an antineoplastic agent and belongs to a group of medicines called hematopoietic growth factors. It is used to treat anemia (a condition characterized by a low red blood cell count) in individuals with chronic kidney disease. It is also indicated for the treatment of anemia caused by chemotherapy in patients with certain types of cancer. Common symptoms of anemia include fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath.

You should not use Cresp 500mcg Injection if you are allergic to Darbepoetin Alfa or any of its ingredients, or if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure. Inform your doctor if you have a history of high blood pressure, anemia, seizures, epilepsy, liver disease, hepatitis C, or an allergy to latex. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe headache, dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, vision problems, nausea, vomiting, or seizures after receiving this injection. Common side effects include high blood pressure, shortness of breath, leg swelling, and cough.
