Dasanat 20mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Dasatinib. It is prescribed for adults and children over one year of age to treat Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) and Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in patients resistant to other treatments. It is also used for newly diagnosed Ph+ CML in the chronic phase.

Chronic Myeloid Leukemia is a type of blood cancer caused by changes in the Philadelphia chromosome, leading to the overproduction of white blood cells. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a common blood cancer, especially in children, where lymphocytes multiply rapidly and survive longer than normal.

Common side effects of Dasanat 20mg Tablet may include diarrhea, headache, cough, rash, nausea, tiredness, vomiting, muscle pain, weakness, loss of appetite, and changes in blood pressure. Inform your doctor if these symptoms persist or cause discomfort.

Do not take Dasanat if you are allergic to Dasatinib or any of its components.
