About

Dazit 5 Tab, likely containing Desloratadine, is a non-drowsy antihistamine used for the rapid and effective relief of allergy symptoms. It is the active metabolite of loratadine and works by selectively blocking peripheral H1-receptors, thereby inhibiting the effects of histamine, a chemical mediator released during allergic reactions. This action helps to alleviate symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and skin rashes associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis, and chronic idiopathic urticaria. Desloratadine's long duration of action allows for once-daily dosing, providing sustained symptom control with minimal sedative effects.
