About

Duxocin 10mg Injection is an anthracycline cytotoxic antibiotic widely used in chemotherapy for various cancers. Its primary mechanism of action involves intercalating into DNA, inhibiting topoisomerase II, and generating free radicals, all of which lead to DNA damage and disruption of cellular replication and transcription. This ultimately results in programmed cell death (apoptosis) in rapidly dividing cancer cells. Duxocin is effective against a broad spectrum of solid tumors and hematological malignancies. Due to its potent cytotoxic effects, treatment with Duxocin requires careful monitoring for dose-limiting toxicities, particularly cardiotoxicity, which is a significant concern with cumulative doses. Administration is typically intravenous under strict medical supervision.
