About

Erlotero 150mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer and pancreatic cancer.

This medication should be taken on an empty stomach—either one hour before or two hours after a meal. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully regarding dosage and duration. Do not stop or alter the dose without medical advice, as taking too much or too little can lead to serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months before you notice the full benefits of the treatment.

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, fatigue, skin rash, and weight loss. It may also cause severe diarrhea—stay hydrated and contact your doctor if it becomes bothersome. Erlotero can increase sun sensitivity, so it's important to use sunscreen or wear protective clothing outdoors. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience mouth ulcers, vision changes, or breathing difficulties. Regular liver function tests may be recommended during treatment.

This medication can interact with several other drugs, so inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you are currently taking. Erlotero is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and effective contraception should be used by both men and women during treatment to prevent pregnancy. Smoking is discouraged, as it may reduce the effectiveness of the medication. If you are taking antacids or other medicines, ensure there is at least a 2-hour gap between them and Erlotero.
