About

Everomus 0.50mg Tablet contains Everolimus, an mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) inhibitor with immunosuppressive and antiproliferative properties. It is used in a variety of indications, including advanced renal cell carcinoma, advanced pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA) associated with tuberous sclerosis, and hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer. Everolimus works by forming a complex with FKBP-12, which then inhibits mTOR, a central regulator of cell growth, proliferation, and survival.

By blocking the mTOR pathway, Everolimus suppresses tumor cell growth, angiogenesis, and metabolism, making it an effective targeted therapy for several types of cancer. Its immunosuppressive effects also make it useful in preventing organ transplant rejection. The precise dosage and duration of treatment depend on the specific indication and patient response.

Uses

  • Treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma after failure of prior therapy.
  • Treatment of advanced pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors.
  • Treatment of subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA) associated with tuberous sclerosis.
  • Treatment of hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women.
