About
Glenvas 4mg Capsule contains Lenvatinib as its active ingredient and belongs to a class of medications known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It is prescribed for the treatment of advanced or progressive thyroid cancer, particularly when radioactive iodine therapy is no longer effective. Additionally, it is used as a first-line treatment for patients with unresectable liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) who are not candidates for surgery.
Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma, a severe form of thyroid cancer typically seen in patients over the age of 60, presents with symptoms such as a hard, enlarged thyroid gland and hoarseness, often due to vocal cord nerve involvement. Hepatocellular carcinoma, a common type of liver cancer, often arises from underlying liver conditions like cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B.
Glenvas 4mg Capsule should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to Lenvatinib or any of its components. Patients are also advised to inform their dentist or oral surgeon before undergoing any dental procedures, as this medication may interfere with wound healing and increase the risk of bleeding.
