About

Lenalid 15mg Capsule is classified as an immunomodulatory agent and contains the active ingredient Lenalidomide. It is prescribed for adults to treat multiple myeloma, mantle cell lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndrome, and follicular lymphoma. Multiple myeloma is a cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow, where the cells multiply uncontrollably. Although this condition cannot be cured, its symptoms can be managed. Myelodysplastic syndrome is a group of disorders affecting blood and bone marrow, leading to abnormal and poorly functioning blood cells. Mantle cell lymphoma is a rare cancer of the lymph nodes, while follicular lymphoma is a slow-developing cancer that impacts B cells.

Common side effects of Lenalid 15mg Capsule may include nausea, diarrhea, constipation, muscle cramps, fatigue, fever, cough, headache, back pain, breathlessness, skin rashes, thyroid issues, and other skin-related problems. Notify your doctor if any of these symptoms persist or become bothersome.

Let your doctor know if you are allergic to Lenalid 15mg Capsule or any of its components. Before beginning treatment, inform your physician if you have a history of blood clots, heart attacks, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or if you smoke. You should also inform your doctor if you have any viral infections such as hepatitis B, varicella zoster, or HIV. Routine blood tests will be conducted before and during treatment, as the medication can lead to a decrease in blood cell counts. This medicine is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age.
