About

Lenangio 25mg Capsule belongs to a group of medicines called immunomodulatory agents and contains the active ingredient Lenalidomide. It is prescribed for the treatment of adults with multiple myeloma, mantle cell lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndrome, and follicular lymphoma. Multiple myeloma is a cancer of plasma cells, which are found in the bone marrow. In this condition, abnormal plasma cells multiply uncontrollably and accumulate in the bone marrow. Although it cannot be cured, treatment can help manage symptoms and slow disease progression. Myelodysplastic syndrome refers to a group of blood and bone marrow disorders in which the blood cells are abnormal and function poorly. Mantle cell lymphoma is a rare form of cancer affecting the lymph nodes, while follicular lymphoma is a slow‑growing type of B‑cell cancer.

Common side effects of Lenangio 25mg Capsule may include nausea, diarrhea, constipation, muscle cramps, fatigue, fever, cough, headache, back pain, breathlessness, rashes, thyroid problems, and other skin disorders. Inform your doctor if these symptoms persist or cause discomfort.

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Lenalidomide or any of its components. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have a history of blood clots, heart attack, smoking, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol levels. Also, let your healthcare provider know if you have viral infections such as hepatitis B, varicella zoster, or HIV. Your doctor will perform regular blood tests before and during treatment, as Lenangio can cause a decrease in blood cell counts. This medicine is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age.
