About

Mamazol 2.5mg is an anti-cancer medication classified as an aromatase inhibitor. It is prescribed as supportive therapy following primary treatment or as a first-line therapy for postmenopausal women with early or advanced hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. Since elevated estrogen levels can stimulate the growth of breast cancer, Mamazol works by blocking the enzyme aromatase, which is responsible for estrogen production, thereby helping to slow or stop the growth and spread of cancer cells.

Inform your doctor if you have not yet reached menopause, as this medication is not effective for premenopausal women. Because Mamazol lowers the levels of female reproductive hormones, it is not recommended for menstruating women and may affect fertility. Regular monitoring of cholesterol is advised, as the medication may increase cholesterol levels. It may also reduce bone mineral density, so discuss bone health with your doctor and consider routine bone assessments. Effective contraception should be used during treatment and for at least three weeks after the last dose, as Mamazol 2.5mg can cause harm if taken during pregnancy.
