Mitant 12.5mg Capsule contains the active ingredient Sunitinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that works by blocking specific enzymes (tyrosine kinases) involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells. It is used to treat gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), a rare form of cancer that can develop anywhere in the gastrointestinal tract. It is also indicated for the treatment of advanced kidney cancer and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET). Cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow and multiply uncontrollably. This medicine is not recommended for individuals under 18 years of age.

Before starting Mitant 12.5mg Capsule, inform your doctor if you have blood disorders, heart conditions, liver or kidney problems, skin disorders, diabetes, seizures, or thyroid issues. Also, mention if you have recently undergone or are planning to have surgery. Notify your doctor if you have high blood pressure, as this medicine can sometimes cause hypertension as a side effect. Avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit products during treatment.
