About
Sutib Capsule contains the active ingredient Sunitinib, a type of tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It works by blocking specific enzymes known as tyrosine kinases, which play a role in the growth and spread of cancer cells. This medication is primarily used to treat gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GIST), a rare form of cancer that can develop anywhere along the gastrointestinal tract. It is also prescribed for advanced kidney cancer and a type of pancreatic cancer known as pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (PNET). Cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably.
Sutib Capsule is not recommended for individuals under 18 years of age. Before starting treatment, it's important to inform your doctor if you have any existing health conditions such as blood disorders, heart issues, liver or kidney problems, skin conditions, diabetes, seizures, or thyroid imbalances. You should also mention if you’ve recently undergone surgery or are planning to have one. Since Sutib can cause high blood pressure, let your doctor know if you have a history of hypertension. Avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice during treatment, as it may interfere with the medication. If you experience any dental issues like mouth pain, swelling, or sores, consult your dentist before beginning therapy.
