About

Mitotax 30mg Injection is an antineoplastic agent belonging to the taxane class, primarily used in the treatment of various solid tumors. It exerts its cytotoxic effects by interfering with the normal function of microtubules, which are essential components of the cellular cytoskeleton and critical for cell division. Specifically, Mitotax promotes the assembly of microtubules from tubulin dimers and stabilizes them, preventing their depolymerization. This leads to the arrest of cells in the G2/M phase of the cell cycle, ultimately inducing apoptosis (programmed cell death) in rapidly dividing cancer cells. Its unique mechanism makes it a cornerstone in many chemotherapy regimens for advanced malignancies.
