ORPAN DSR TAB combines Omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), with Domperidone, a prokinetic and antiemetic agent. Omeprazole works by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+-ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells, leading to a significant reduction in stomach acid production. This provides effective and prolonged acid suppression.
